FAQ's - Costs

Q: How much does it cost to play football with the Dawgs?
A: The player fee is $250 if registered before 4/30/24. The fee for registration after is $300. There are also ancillary costs associated with playing, and you can spend as little or as much as you want here. These costs involve things like cleats, under armor, gloves, etc.

Q: Is there a multi-player discount?
A: Yes, there is! Families with more than one player pay no more than $400.

Q: What if we can't afford the player fee?
A: The Cedarburg Dawgs Youth Football organization has a limited number of scholarships available for families that can demonstrate financial difficulty. Please contact the
Adam Jacobson for more information. All scholarship awards are kept confidential.

Q. What is the volunteer fee found on this year's registration?
A. Volunteers are essential to vibrant youth sports programs. In previous years, we have had trouble recruiting enough volunteers and needed to create an incentive. After researching multiple other youth tackle programs, we have found it is a common practice to charge a refundable volunteer fee up front. The $100 fee is per family and will be reimbursed with two volunteer sessions; we most need volunteers at home games, followed by the banquet, fundraising, and other miscellaneous events. Watch for more details prior to the beginning of the football season.

Q: What additional equipment will I have to purchase for my child?
A: Each child must have cleats ($25 and up)  and a mouth guard ($10 and up). We provide practice jerseys but purchasing a personal pair of practice pants are preferred.  There are  other items that are recommended but not mandatory. These include under armor, gloves, etc. See the
equipment FAQ page for more equipment info.

Q: What does my registration fee cover?
A: Keeping in mind that costs vary slightly from year to year, this is the approximate breakdown per player:

  • Jersey
  • Equipment reconditioning
  • League fees
  • Field fees
  • Officials
  • New equipment/supplies
  • Insurance
  • Athletic Trainer Services
